sterling silver is considered hypoallergenic because it does not contain nickel. these pieces can be worn in water (but i would recommend you don't, because it may cause the metal to oxidize more quickly.) these are high quality and won't turn your skin green like cheap metal alloys. tarnishing can be removed with a polishing cloth. if you would like to order this piece in another metal, please contact me via email.
